7 Ajmaq

Today, our human consciousness has the opportunity for growth in our forgiveness and personal service.
The key to this growth is through our search for expression and transmission.
The glyph that depicts Ajmaq is representing the mind in a state of forgiveness and illumination. It is a brain with rays, lines of expansion, reaching out in all directions. In the Mayan period, Ajmaq was a day to stay home and reflect on one's life and on the last 20 day period in particular, only going out to make offerings to those you have wronged or the Earth, or to listen to the Elders speak. Power 7 projects faith, spirituality, intuition, analysis, and introspection. It is a good day for spiritual development, self reflection, and internal growth. It is not the best day to make important decisions. It stands for balance and possesses the power to impel.
Ajmaq embodies our mistakes and forgiveness. Upon converging with Power 7, its energies intensify, and it puts you on the path of inner harmony.
This is only a reference as to what day of the Cholq'ij calendar aligns with our familiar dates.
For more information, buy the book by Mayan elder Carlos Barrios, books by Mayan Daykeeper Denise Barrios, or any other books regarding this Sacred Calendar.
