6 Aq'ab'al

Today our human consciousness has the opportunity for growth through change.
The key to this growth is through duality, dawn and darkness.
Today represents a break from the routine and renewal. Let go of the reins and head in a new direction. Aq'ab'al is two opposing yet harmonious energies, sunrise/sunset, light/shadow, the two sides of a coin: Who can say when night ends and day begins? The glyph used for Aq'ab'al includes a depiction of the light that shines at dawn to dispel materialism from the face of the Earth.  Power 6 is learning, changes, and responsibilities. It is a day to thank the Supreme Being (Ajaw) for all that we have received. Strive to give back to our communities and resolve any pending issues. It stands for life's trials and personal development.
Today we might find it difficult to control the events around us; that sense of restlessness we are experiencing is perhaps Aq'ab'al's way of signaling that it's time to change course, because we are entering a new cycle.
